National Football Academy

I need a help can any body tell me did you have an expiriance in forming a national academy of football,how its conect with educational system(did they go regulary in school or the teachers come and teach them in academy inside). How looks one week in that academy how many training sesions per a week,for U15 it will be the first generation.Did they train in Academy and in friday goes to a clubs,or stay and play together in national competition for their ages.

I have forwarded your question to a few top contacts on here who have experience with National Federations as well as UEFA and FIFA and asked them if they have any resources that might help you with this request. One suggestion I would have is to approach UEFA and see what direction they could give you. I hope we can find you some good information to help you get started.

First of all Tim thank you very much for helping me to make some cleaning in my mind for an ideas for a first,national academy.I must to inform you that last week we start a first circle of selection.We divide Macedonia in 6 regions each region had a two regional scouts with a lot of experience to find best players in that region and to track them during 9 months.After we find best 33 players we make tests(Laboratory and motorical tests -basic & specific) and several games.After that we make best 22 players and 4 goalkeepers.We expect to have this June first class in high school(U15).Once again thank you very much for assisting me and we will stay in touch.

HI Vojneski,

I contacted Robin Russell, who is a good friend of mine and belongs to the Community. He worked for the English FA for 20+ years and now consults for UEFA, FIFA and produces the eLearning courses for the LMA in the UK. He said he knows Bojan Markovski from the Macedonian Federation as he has attended our last UEFA Conference in Holland in April of this year. I have pasted below his questions he would pose to you first to understand where you are with the planning and research for this project to set up a National Football Academy for the Macedonian FA:

I have some back ground information for Vojneski which I can pass onto to him but first questions would be :

- Number of Players?

- Age?

- How identified

- How long expected to be in the Academy ?

- Expected Staff Ratios : coaches, sports medics etc.

- Where do the players eat, sleep and have their non –football education ?

- Facilities – especially for all climates

If you can provide some further background based on the questions above, then I am happy to make the email introduction to Robin directly.

Hi Tim thank you very much for helping me first of all I,m PRO UEFA licence coach and Bojan is my colegue which I personaly training him in our federation he was working under my supervision until to May this year.I was in position of head of youth department .Now Bojan we put on position Grassroots manager.
But let see about the answers for Robin ,
Number of Players : 24 in first year
-          Age? 14-15 old
-          How identified (we have 6 regions and 12 scouts for each region two,test games in region after that between region games ,tests(labaratory,and field tests .basical motorics and specific motoric test)
-          How long expected to be in the Academy : 4 years
-          Expected Staff Ratios : coaches, sports medics etc.(Each generation will have Head coach,two ass Coaches,GK coach One doctor and two physio,we will have contract with special labaratory for sport and science plus we will have consulting from outside for pedagogie and sports psyhologie also we will have two tutors for educational proces.Also we willhave a fitness coaches two with a doctor physiologist.
-          Where do the players eat, sleep and have their non –football education :
Players will sleep eat in internat together and they will have education in sport high school in the same class, which will be open especialy for them next school year 2012/2013.
-          Facilities – especially for all climates: We will train in house of Football from Football Federation of Macedonia where we have 4 natural grass pitches one artificial all of them with lights.
